Macron Requests Opening Of Humanitarian Exit From Gaza For French Citizens

According to his office, President Emmanuel Macron has requested Israel and Egypt to permit French people to leave the beleaguered Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing.
According to the statement, Paris has made contact with everyone involved in an effort to ensure that French people could travel from the southern Gaza Strip into Egypt and that the crossing could also be used for “humanitarian operations” to Gaza.

According to his office, Macron had discussions with both Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
