Putin informs Erdogan that Russia won’t extend the grain agreement until the conditions are met

Russian President Vladimir Putin has reaffirmed his position that a deal mediated by the UN to securely transport Ukrainian grain over the Black Sea will only be reinstated if the West complies with Moscow’s requirements on its agricultural exports.

The Russian president made his comments on Monday following a meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the president of Turkey, in the Black Sea city of Sochi. The meeting was intended to revive a deal that was deemed essential for the world’s food supplies, particularly in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
