On Tuesday, BJD president and former Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik met newly elected first-time BJP MLA Laxman Bag, who beat him in the recent Assembly elections from the Kantabanji seat in Bolangir district. Mr Patnaik, noted for his calm attitude, was walking through the House after taking his oath as a member of the Assembly when he came face to face with Mr Bag, who stood up from his seat. “How are you?” Mr. Bag asked with folded hands.
