A Delhi court on Thursday extended AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s judicial detention till 6 July in the CBI’s investigation into an alleged excise policy fraud. Recently, the Delhi High Court refused him bail in the case. A court led by Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma ruled that the applicant failed to meet the triple test for granting bail in the corruption case, as well as the twin criteria needed by the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.However, the high court underlined that Manish Sisodia could continue to see with his ill wife every week under the same circumstances that the trial court had previously imposed. In March of this year, the Supreme Court dismissed the curative.
