Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, claimed that the “PM face is secondary” and that “the PM face will be INDIA” while declining to reveal who the opposition bloc’s candidate for prime minister will be.
“On PM face, we have not had any conversations. As members of the INDIA family, we are all the same. We want to keep our nation. Who will represent the PM is not as important. A press release from the All India Trinamool Congress quoted Mamata Banerjee as saying, “The PM face will be INDIA.”
