Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, reportedly paid $68 million for a brand-new residence in Florida’s “Billionaire Bunker”. The three-bedroom, three-bathroom property was purchased by the 59-year-old in June, a month after he proposed to Lauren Sanchez with a huge diamond ring estimated to be worth $2.5 million, according to Fox Business. The man is the third richest person in the world with a net worth of $163 billion.
According to the outlet, the mega-mansion on Indian Creek Island was constructed in 1965 and enlarged in 1985. On a 2.8-acre property, there is a 9,259 square foot home. The artificial barrier island has a local government, mayor, and police force. Celebrities like Julio Iglesias, Carl Icahn, Ivanka Trump, and Tom Brady reside there as well.
