The President was not invited to the new Parliament’s inauguration, according to Udhayanidhi Stalin

Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin claimed on Wednesday that President Droupadi Murmu was not invited to the inauguration of the new Parliament building because she is a widow and a member of the Adivasi community, according to PTI, days after his comments about Sanatana Dharma sparked a national uproar.

The minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development stated at a gathering in Madurai that the president was not given permission to accompany a female Hindi actor to the new Parliament building. “Why? due to Draupadi Murmu’s tribal heritage and her recent husband loss. We refer to this as Sanatana Dharma.
