Mumbai. The third weekend of Randeep Hooda’s starring and filmmaker Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, which debuted on March 22, is still going strong in Indian theatres. Based on the well-known and contentious Indian freedom warrior, the biopic-epic continues to garner significant theatrical attendance and box office receipts, which is a credit to its gripping story and effective word-of-mouth marketing. The movie has gotten positive reviews all throughout the country, but especially in Maharashtra, where it has become a local favourite and maintained its top rating over the course of the weeks.
