Sonia Gandhi asked to “avoid Delhi pollution” and moved temporarily to Jaipur

Sonia Gandhi, the former head of the Congress, is temporarily relocating to Jaipur till the Delhi air quality improves, two months after her medical release. Due to Ms. Gandhi’s respiratory issues, her physicians have recommended that she temporarily relocate to an area with improved air quality.
Based on private air quality monitoring website aqi.in, the Air Quality Index for Delhi on Tuesday was 375, falling into the’severe’ category; for Jaipur, the score was 72, falling into the’moderate’ category.

Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress party, will meet Ms. Gandhi in Jaipur on Tuesday evening before travelling to Chhattisgarh on Wednesday. Gandhi is currently giving speeches at rallies in many states where the assembly elections will take place later this year.
