Former India batsman-turned commentator Sanjay Manjrekar said Mumbai Indians have been a better team than Chennai Super Kings in recent years in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Sanjay Manjrekar said Mumbai Indians’ ability to fare better in the finals of IPL over the years makes them a better unit than Chennai Super Kings. CSK have reached the IPL finals 8 times in the league’s 12-year history and managed to win 3 titles. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have won 4 titles in 5 appearances in the final.
In their latest meeting, which was the IPL 2019 final, Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings by 1 run in a last-ball thriller to become the most successful team in the T20 league.
