Putin on Gaza’s “catastrophe”: “There’s Nothing Like This In Ukraine”

On Thursday, President Vladimir Putin referred to the circumstances in the Gaza Strip as a “catastrophe” that was unlike anything that had happened in the Ukraine.
Putin made the remarks at a press conference in Moscow as his full-scale military intervention against Kyiv approaches the two-year anniversary. Putin’s government has maintained ties with both Israel and Hamas.

“Everybody here and around the world can see and look at the special military operation and at what is happening in Gaza and feel the difference,” he said, referring to the conflict in Ukraine by the name of the Kremlin.
