Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, shared a picture taken by a Tamil Nadu photographer on Sunday in order to wish everyone a happy Diwali. The IT executive, who is originally from Chennai, said that the image was taken with a Google Pixel phone. This carries on a custom that Apple CEO Tim Cook started, sharing images of Indian consumers’ iPhones on Diwali.
“In honour of Diwali celebrations this weekend, enjoying photos taken by #TeamPixel over the years – here’s one from @madhanmohan_r,” Mr. Pichai shared a photo taken by photographer Madhan Mohan Ram. I hope everyone who celebrates Diwali has a great time.”
Mr. Pichai posted a photo of a girl wearing lightning sparkles to celebrate Diwali last year.
