Pawan Kalyan, an actor and politician, swore in as a minister in Chandrababu’s Naidu government today. After the BJP lost the majority in the Lok Sabha elections, Mr. Naidu emerged as a kingmaker and has since taken over as Andhra Pradesh’s chief minister four times. According to sources, Pawan Kalyan, popularly known as “Power Star,” is anticipated to be appointed deputy chief minister. Pawan Kalyan, the chief of Jana Sena, was instrumental in uniting the BJP and Chandrababu Naidu’s Telugu Desam Party (TDP) against the YSR Congress Party, which is led by Jagan Mohan Reddy. The three-party coalition won 164 Assembly seats, completing a perfect sweep. Additionally, it won 21 of the 25 Lok Sabha seats.
