Veteran BJP politician Subramainan Swamy, who has long been at odds with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has hit out at him again after Sheikh Hasina quit and fled Bangladesh. His article stated, “Modi was a coward when China took 4067 square kilometres of India’s uncontested Ladakh region. He wobbled when Maldivian Muslim authorities told Indians to leave the island. Now, Modi is trembling as the Muslims push out Bangladesh’s Lady PM. Don’t enquire about Nepal. Ask Modi to resign.”
