Mamata Banerjee’s Comeback Has An Opposition Twist

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, whose Trinamool Congress is a significant member of the newly formed front, responded angrily to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s jab at the Opposition’s “INDIA” alliance.
Hours after Mr. Shah urged the parties in the Opposition alliance not to back the Aam Aadmi Party over the proposed bill that would remove control over officers from Delhi, Ms. Banerjee said that their cooperation is in the best interests of the nation.

Additionally, she charged that the BJP encouraged violence and expressed assurance that their coalition will triumph in the upcoming elections.
