As he tries to move past the embarrassment over Hindenburg Research’s short-seller report, Gautam Adani has promoted plans to construct a sizable hybrid renewable energy plant.
Adani and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state of Gujarat is where the wind and solar project will be developed, the Indian entrepreneur stated in an address at Adani Enterprises Ltd.’s annual meeting. It would have a 20 gigawatt capacity, which is about equivalent to Portugal’s whole installed electrical capacity.
