Most people’s 2023 bingo lists probably didn’t include Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg fighting each other physically, but by the summer, it was looking more and more likely.
One of the year’s most popular internet stories was the conflict between Musk and Zuck.
Following Zuckerberg’s announcement of the release of Threads, an app intended to compete with X, the two tech titans engaged in a social media back and forth in July. The media circus surrounding them intensified, culminating in the prospect of a mixed martial arts bout between the two billionaires this summer. However, in August, Zuckerberg ruled out the possibility of a fight with Musk.
