In New Delhi: Lalu Prasad Yadav, the former chief minister of Bihar and president of the RJD, is in serious difficulty because the CBI has appealed the Supreme Court’s decision to grant him bail in charges involving the alleged fodder scam. On August 25, the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the CBI’s petition. At least four cases in which the Jharkhand High Court had granted bail to the head of the Rashtriya Janata Dal have been contested by the CBI.
