The Indian cricket team finished the Cricket World Cup 2023 with all but one match won. On Sunday, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the squad lost to Australia by six wickets in the final match. Along with Home Minister Amit Shah and thousands of other supporters, Prime Minister Narendra Modi watched the match with the hopes of ending the 12-year wait for the ODI World Cup. To the dismay of the host nation, however, Pat Cummins’s soldiers defeated Rohit Sharma’s army. Upon observing unhappy individuals such as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, PM Modi approached them in the Team India dressing room.
