The father of Kwid, Logan and Duster is no more Two products from Renault changed the way people perceived it in India. The first was the Duster compact SUV and then the Kwid. The person who created both was Gerard Detourbet who died in France on Friday. He was 73. Detourbet was also the father of the Logan entry-level sedan, which was part of the then Mahindra-Renault joint venture. Siddaramaiah resigns as Cong Legislature Party leader after Karnataka bye-poll loss Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday decided to step down as the Leader of Congress Legislature Party after the Congress suffered a massive defeat in the bye-elections.  On Monday afternoon, after the results of bye-polls in 15 Assembly constituencies were announced, Siddaramaiah decided to step down from his post, stating that he accepts moral responsibility for the party’s defeat in Karnataka.  source:

News Broadcasters Federation elects Arnab Goswami as governing board president The News Broadcasters Federation (NBF), the country’s largest association of over 78 news channels, has elected the editor-in-chief of Republic TV as president of its governing board.
