Mahesh Babu has joined the cast of Disney’s highly awaited film Mufasa: The Lion King, playing Mufasa in the Telugu version. Mahesh Babu, like Shah Rukh Khan, who plays Mufasa in the Hindi version, stated his enthusiasm for the job. Barry Jenkins directs the picture, which will be released in India on December 20. The film will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. In a statement, Mahesh Babu revealed, “I have always appreciated Disney’s spectacular tradition of entertainment and timeless storytelling; the role of Mufasa appeals to me not just as a loving father mentoring his kid, but also as the supreme monarch of the jungle .
