Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the United States and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of causing the Nord Stream pipeline explosions, which shut off a vital conduit for Russian gas deliveries to Europe, escalating geopolitical tensions.
He stated that such a blast can only be carried out by someone who is “interested” and “capable” of such an attack.
In an interview with Tucker Carlson, an ex-Fox News journalist, Putin remarked, “I won’t go into details, but people always say in such cases: ‘Look for someone who is interested’. However, in this scenario, we should look for someone who is both interested and capable.
