Television and film actress Shweta Tiwari has abandoned her suit before the Bombay High Court to dismiss a forgery charge against her. The action was taken following the filing of an A-summary report by the police. The report summarises why a criminal investigation is being closed due to inadequate evidence.According to a report in Bar and Bench, the Bombay High Court bench of Justices Sarang Kotwal and Neela Gokhale acknowledged the summary report provided by the Bandra-Kurla complex police station before allowing Tiwari to drop her suit.
