In an interview, actress Shweta Tiwari explained why it took her nine years to file for divorce from her first spouse, Raja Chaudhary. Shweta Tiwari stated that Raja Chaudhary would beat her on a daily basis. When asked what originally prevented her from leaving the difficult relationship, Shweta replied, “In my entire family, no one had ever done a love marriage, save me. Despite the fact that our family had caste issues, I married someone from another caste. Furthermore, if I had filed for divorce, the outcome would have been very different. It wasn’t that I wasn’t financially independent at the time; rather, it was an emotional issue.
