At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Monday, during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 final between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings, MS Dhoni pulled off a lightning-quick stumping to dismiss Shubman Gill. Ravindra Jadeja’s pitch was flat, but Gill made an effort to play for the turn. After utterly missing the delivery, the batsman briefly lost his equilibrium as the ball maintained its course. Dhoni was able to remove the bails before Gill could return to the crease thanks to the split-second opportunity. After completing 20 balls and scoring 39, Gill was ejected.
