During the 2024–25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir allegedly accuses young Sarfaraz Khan of leaking the information from the Indian dressing room. Despite hitting 150 in the previous series, the home whitewash over New Zealand, Khan did not participate in any Test matches during the series. Gambhir made the charge during the BCCI’s review meeting of the Australia trip in Mumbai, according to News24 Sports. The head coach’s irate address to the squad following India’s crushing loss in the fourth Test of the series at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) was leaked by Khan, he said.
