The New York Times reported that the party of Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin lost in closely contested parliamentary elections on Sunday (local time) after a center-right party highlighted the nation’s economic difficulties. The National Coalition Party, a center-right coalition party led by Petteri Orpo, 53, won the most votes, followed by the right-wing Finns Party and Marin’s Social Democratic Party.
