External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft. During their meeting on Thursday, the two leaders also exchanged books.
Mr Jaishankar uploaded a post on X that showed him and Gates posing for a selfie with their books.
“A nice book exchange with @BillGates. S Jaishankar wrote: “And a great conversation.”Gates, who is visiting India, landed in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, on Tuesday.
Following his visit to Odisha, Mr Gates arrived in the national capital and spoke with Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya.
In an interview with ANI on Thursday, Mr Gates said that he is confident about India’s excellent future, adding that the country has seen tremendous improvement in many of the critical areas.
