Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched a scathing assault on the BJP on Friday, claiming that the party has been fabricating stories about his health and that he is in good condition and has been around the state to campaign for his party for over a month. Mr. Patnaik made the comment in Mayurbhanj while he was chatting with the news agency ANI. “The BJP is only capable of telling so many falsehoods. I have been campaigning around the state for over a month, as you can see, and I am in excellent condition,” the Odisha chief minister told ANI. BJD leader and chief campaign strategist VK Pandian added to the criticism of the BJP by labelling the attacks as inadequate.
