At an unexpected turn of events during the Asia Cup game between India and Bangladesh in Sri Lanka, Virat Kohli, the former Indian captain, played the part of a “water boy,” much to the amusement of his supporters.
Despite being rested for the game, Virat amused his fans with his brief appearance on the field where he dutifully carried a can of water bottles for the team.
The adoration it received from Pakistani fans made this moment even more memorable. One particular Pakistani supporter couldn’t help but praise Virat Kohli for his modest behaviour and down-to-earth gesture.
