M&M aims to expand electric vehicle offerings to counter competition
India’s electric vehicle leader Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd is planning to launch a slew of products in the segment over the next two years including its first affordable electric vehicle to be launched in the upcoming Auto Expo next month.
In line with the union government’s goal to promote electric mobility among commercial operators like Ola and Uber, the Mumbai based company will focus on the space with eco-friendly products, said Pawan Goenka, managing director of Mahindra and Mahindra.
