On the occasion of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s 99th birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the former prime minister, stating that he dedicated his life to accelerating the nation’s development.
At the “Sadaiv Atal” memorial, PM Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, her predecessor Ram Nath Kovind, Speaker of the Lok Sabha Om Birla, and a number of ministers paid their respects to the BJP icon.
As stated by PM Modi on X, the ‘Amrit Kaal’, or the time leading up to the centenary of India’s independence in 2047, will draw inspiration from Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s devotion and spirit of service to the nation.
