Former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif claimed to have an audio recording of former head Justice Saqib Nisar suggesting he should be removed and replaced by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf head Imran Khan. Demanding action against Supreme Court judges involved in his removal as prime minister in 2017, the 74-year-old three-time former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo also expressed disappointment with Pakistanis’ attitudes towards him and his party. He spoke during a party gathering in Lahore, when it was resolved that he will be re-elected as party president on May 28.
