National pistol shooting instructor Samaresh Jung, who guided Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh to bronze medals at the Paris Olympics, returned to India yesterday only to learn that his family’s 75-year-old Delhi home was planned for destruction in two days. “I returned last evening at 5 p.m. And, about 6 p.m., there came an announcement that the house will be demolished in two days and that we needed to abandon it,” Mr Jung told NDTV. The property and Development Office (LNDO) of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs issued the warning.He said that he had been paying the rent and taxes and didn’t understand how he was being labelled a squatter.
