25% of Indian startups in serious trouble if COVID-19 persists for long, says Kris Gopalakrishnan
BENGALURU : A fourth of India’s new startups would be in a tough situation if unfavorable results of the COVID-19 pandemic continue for long, as indicated by information technology industry veteran Senapathy (Kris) Gopalakrishnan.
“Around 25 percent of the new businesses have under a half year of runway,”the co-founder of IT major Infosy Ltd, told P T I. “They will be in a tough situation if the recovery doesn’t occur in a half year, it doesn’t resemble (occurring inside that period).”
