On Monday, Kedar Jadhav was designated David Willey’s successor by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for the balance of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign.
According to an IPL press release, “the right-handed batter, who previously represented RCB in 17 matches,” was acquired for the sum of Rs 1 crore.The Maharashtra native scored 1,389 runs in 73 ODIs for India and also took 27 wickets with his off-break bowling.
In nine Twenty20 Internationals, he appeared and made 58 runs. After going unsold in the 2018 IPL auction, Jadhav was heard commentating on matches in Marathi.
