“I Can’t Go As…”: Mamata Banerjee On Skipping INDIA Bloc Meeting Before Election Results

West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee said on Monday that she will not attend the INDIA bloc meeting on June 1 due to the last phase of Lok Sabha elections and ongoing relief efforts following hurricane ‘Remal’ in the state’s coastal districts. According to reports, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has called a meeting of the INDIA bloc leaders on the afternoon of June 1, which coincides with the last round of voting. Ms Banerjee stated during an election rally in Kolkata that she would be unable to attend the INDIA bloc meeting because to the state’s planned elections that day.
