The major trailer premiere of the pan-India film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, was held in Patna’s Gandhi Maidan drawing an excited audience of thousands of fans. However, a large attendance during the event created chaotic scenes, with fans attempting to scale barricades and buildings to get closer to their favourite performers. As the situation worsened, reports suggested that police had to interfere with a “mild” lathi charge to control the throng. Some guests threw slippers and other objects at police officers who were preventing them from accessing the stage, according to videos circulating on the internet from the event.
