Deepa Malik announces retirement, will head India’s Paralympic Committee
Deepa Malik, India’s lone woman Paralympics silver medallist, reported on Monday that she will drape her boots from dynamic games so as to fill in as the leader of the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) as per the National Sports Code.
The 49-year-old took to Twitter and explained that she was declaring her retirement from the game for her connection with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS).
