Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Tuesday, marking the finale of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, that the celebration of approximately 1000 days became a people’s movement and saw India accomplish various milestones, including becoming the fifth biggest economy and passing the women’s reservation bill.
He also reaffirmed India’s determination to become a developed country by 2047 and challenged the youth to fight towards that goal.
He stated that the Dandi Yatra brought people together, and that the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav set new records in terms of the number of people who participated.
