According to Union Home Minister Amit Shah today, anti-terror agencies will need to adopt a ruthless strategy to prevent the formation of new terrorist organisations in the nation.
Speaking at a seminar in Delhi on counterterrorism, Amit Shah emphasised the need to eradicate not just terrorism but also the terrorists’ entire support chain.
The Home Minister claimed that the Modi administration’s harsh choices in dealing with the problems posed by cryptocurrencies, hawala transactions, funding for terrorism, organised crime organisations, and narco-terrorist ties have produced excellent outcomes. He indicated there was still a great deal to be done.
All anti-terror institutions will need to adopt a harsh strategy, he warned, to prevent the formation of new terrorist organisations.
