Every year on April 14, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar’s birth anniversary is commemorated as Ambedkar Jayanti. Dr. BR Ambedkar, also known as “Babasaheb,” was a social reformer who wrote the Indian constitution. He was an economist and jurist whose thoughts influenced many generations. Dr. Ambedkar also lead India’s Dalit struggle. He devoted his whole life campaigning for equality, bettering society, and spreading progressive beliefs.
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, often known as Babasaheb, was born on April 14, 1891, in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. He was the 14th and final child of Ramji Maloji Sakpal. Babasaheb, a Dalit from a poor family, observed the horrors and injustice that his group faced.
