Afghan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq has upset several people with his variations on the pitch and antics off it.Naveen-ul-Haq Murid, a 23-year-old from Kabul, fell in love with the game in this way. Naveen’s family was forced to leave his war-torn birthplace and move to war-torn Pakistan when he was a little child.
But as soon as he got back to his home country, he immersed himself in his passion by joining the Afghan under-16 team when he was just 11 years old. Six years later, in September 2016, he earned his Afghanistan debut in an ODI match against Bangladesh in Mirpur.
