Days before the state’s Assembly elections, tensions were raised when Dularchand Yadav, a Jan Suraaj employee, was shot and killed in Mokama during an election campaign. When the incident occurred in Taratar, Yadav, who had previously run for the Mokama Assembly seat, was supporting Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj candidacy.
