Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar asked on Saturday that independence warrior Veer Kunwar Singh’s ‘Vijay Diwas’ (victory day) on April 23 be commemorated nationally every year. Nitish stated that Veer Kunwar Singh’s contribution in the country’s first liberation movement was not confined to the borders of Bihar.
