On Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) Season 16, actor Amitabh Bachchan frequently shares memories from his storied career. However, the most recent show reversed the trend when contestant Kaushalendra Pratap Singh mentioned a lesser-known incident about the iconic actor. He remembered reading about Amitabh overcoming tainted water while filming his 1979 movie Kaala Patthar in a book written by Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Amitabh’s father. Additionally, Kaushalendra emphasised the father Bachchan’s sincere hope for his son’s long life.He wished you a long life and said that sitting facing north gives truth. He also said that he personally sought truth. “You (Amitabh) need ayush (a long life), but I need truth,” he wrote.
