Kangana Ranaut, the MP for the Bharatiya Janata Party, has questioned actor Sonu Sood’s stand on the Uttar Pradesh government’s order requiring food businesses along the Kanwar Yatra route to post the identities of their owners. Sonu Sood’s statement that store nameplates should only feature “humanity” prompted BJP MP Kangana Ranaut to challenge the actor’s position. The controversy arose from an Uttar Pradesh government decision requiring owners’ names to be displayed on stores and restaurants along the Kanwar Yatra route.
