Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has been made fun of by Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, who said that the chief minister “doesn’t understand the language” and hence cannot read English newspapers. Akhilesh Yadav read aloud in English from a reputable Lucknow daily to the Samajwadi Party cadre, “Sinking road indicates stinking corruption.”The corrupt police are a problem that needs to be addressed, and the corruption in Uttar Pradesh is a problem that the BJP’s Sarkar is trying to solve. “Sinking road indicates stinking corruption,”Akhilesh Yadav laughed and added, “Ab mukhyamatriji [CM Yogi Adityanath] ne nahi padha hoga kyuki angreji mein likha hai.”
