The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor for questioning in relation to the Mahadev gaming app, which is thought to be a venue for illegal betting.
Ranbir Kapoor has asked for a two-week extension to appear before the investigation agency, while Shraddha Kapoor was summoned for questioning by the agency today.
Regarding Ranbir Kapoor, the ED claimed that the actor had engaged in advertising for the Mahadev betting app.
The ED and other state police departments, including those in Bhopal, Kolkata, and Mumbai, are currently investigating the Mahadev Book app, an online betting platform.
