On Sunday, hundreds of eager followers, largely young people, endured hours of sweltering heat to get a sight of Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who arrived in the city of temples to open a showroom for a well-known jewellery company.
At the event hosted at Channi on the city’s outskirts, the actor also grooved to his well-known song “Ek Pal Ka Jeena” from his 2000 debut film Kaho Na… Pyaar Hai, where cops struggled to keep the thronging masses at a safe distance from him.The 49-year-old celebrity praised the locals for their “love and support” over the years amidst the chants of “Welcome to Jammu.”
